A Christmas Dream Come True

I was just going through my Christmas pictures, looking for inspiration, when I came across this one. It just made my heart jump. It's like I can feel the happiness in my heart exuding from the picture itself. I have always wanted to be a mother. But when the dream was almost taken away from me, the need to have my own child seemed to grow. Three Christmas' ago I hit a very low point. I really didn't think I would ever achieve my dream of a child.

And now I look at this picture and I see that dreams do come true. No matter how distant and impossible they may seem, persistence and belief truly pays off. I love what my life has become. I love the joys that fill it everyday. My daughter will always be my perfect Christmas dream come true.

It's still 2006, right???

So I totally neglected this blog for a while. Please don't hate me, blog. I've missed you..really I have. Life has been crazy...and I'm justing getting back into the swing of things.

The holidays were AMAZING. Sarah had a wonderful time with all of her new toys. We have a closet full still unopened. I think we'll save those for throughout the year! Lucky girl! She's being spoiled just like her mommy, lol.

I haven't been posting many layouts recently...I'm actually working on HOF. I'm not sure what I'm thinking by even trying, but I think it the experience alone will be worth it. As long as I don't stress about it and can get it all done before CHA, I'll be happy.

I have some AWESOME news!! I designed some very cool and funky stamps for The Scrapbook Stand's March kit!!! I can't wait to get them in my hands. I have been wanting to do stamps for a long time but I never felt confident enough to go ahead and try. But with the support of some FABULOUS friends (thanks Shirely, Michele and Tracey) I'm finally going for it! I'll post some sneak peeks as we get closer!!

I also designed the new logo for The Scrapbook Stand's CHA shirts. I LOVE it to pieces and I"m so proud to have such talented and WONDERFUL people wearing a shirt with my designs. It is just an absolute dream come true for me. I posted a pic of it above. The shirts will be available for purchase to our members soon!

There are only 20 more days until CHA baby!!!! WOO HOOO!!!!
