I'm Baaaaaaaaack...a TOOT, and a Sneak PEEK!!

Home from our whirlwind tour of the east coast (lol, not really but it sure felt that way). We had an awesome time at Tracey's. We relaxed, we scrapped, we swam, we dined, we shopped, we potty trained and we just vegged out and gabbed like only two friends can. I even scrapped in front of other people!! I've never done that before, and let me say, it totally rocked. I thought I would lose my mojo completely, but it definately flowed. I even created three layouts. SHOCKING I tell ya.

Emily (tracey's dd) and Sarah had fun together in the way that only two 2-year-olds can. A bunch of "mine"'s and "no"'s rang through the house, but all in all, I think they definately had fun. I know Sarah adored Gabe and Zuzu (the dog) because she tells everyone about them, lol! It was a total joy to watch them play together in the pool.

New things I learned from the Odachowski's:
Scrapple, although seemingly inedible, actually tastes good (I have yet to prove that for myself, lol) If you're wondering what Scrapple is check it out here....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrapple
It is possible to get marker off of 80% of a child's body using rubbing alcohol (you'll have to ask Tracey about that one, lol)
Winning HOF makes you the mac daddy of scrap supplies :O
Minivans might actually be cool
You can never have enough candles....especially when you live so close to the Yankee Candle flagship store...HEAVEN

It was great to hang with my girl and just relax...the only bad part is that I miss it all already...thank goodness cha is only a few weeks away ;)

Then we were off to Florida to visit the inlaws. In a nutshell, we did more swimming, shopping, dining and relaxing. But this time we added in some horse back riding for Sarah, house hunting (don't ask....I'm not leaving my beloved NYC any time soon), boating on a fresh water spring, and chowing on some DELISH grouper. I could eat grouper all day when I'm in Florida...grouper filet, grouper fingers, grouper sandwich...YUM

Now for the TOOT....I FINALLY broke the CK barrier!!!! Well, not a layout per se, but my Dream Street Papers did!! WOOHOOOOO!!!!! In the 100th issue, one of my papers is the background for the Fresh Face layout. And EVEN COOLER than that is they featured my papers from the Cafe Chic and the Story of a Seed line in the Style article under "Graphic". I can't stop looking at that feature...it's a total "pinch me" moment :)

And last but not least, Dream Street has started sneak peeks!! Amy and Natalie's gorgeous lines are up and they are fantastic. I'm just so proud to be a part of this wonderful group of women. I just got my box of papers from Tara and this release is SIMPLY FABULOUS! I can't wait to start scrapping and show everyone. And just wait until you see other goodies we're releasing as well. Yes, you read that right! We're not just paper anymore!! WOOP WOOP! Check out the Dream Street blog to see the peeks.....http://dreamstreetpapers.blogspot.com/

Ok, I think that's enough for now, thanks for hanging in here for so long!

After reading the Wikipedia post about Scrapple I would say you are a very brave woman!

Also good tip to use rubbing alcohol for permanent marker.
